Investors are Bullish About Walt Disney

Walt Disney World ( DIS +0.3%) proposed  reopening in Orlando, Fla., with the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom restarting July 11. Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS)  Jim MacPhee announces EPCOT and Hollywood Studios would follow with their own reopening on July 15.

But will the experience be like re-opening Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS)  the world’s most magical kingdom among a pandemic? Social distancing practices and safety are the parks number one concern. While things will be different for a while, Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) is showing the world to come an embrace the wonderful experience’s we all need at this time.

With $14.3 billion of cash reserves and another $17.3 billion of untapped credit lines, Disney has been able to survive the recent pandemic. The entertainment industry has been shut down in regard to production. Disney+ video-streaming service is doing well  since parents and kids are home and look to Disney + original content for family fun entertainment.

54.5 million Disney+ subscribers as of May 4, which is up over 20 million from the 33.5 million it reported for the quarter ended on March 2, 2020. NBA in talks to resume play at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Despite setbacks, Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS)   has climbed over 40% since March 23,2020 to top the S&P 500’s 32% climb and its industry’s 28%.
