Celebrity rapper Drake is not new to creating viral content for his web fans and the recent Iceman stunt in Toronto drove his web fans to a frenzy as they chipped away at a huge ice sculpture using sledgehammers, blowtorches and flamethrowers as they tried to find the release date of his latest album titled Iceman. A popular social media influencer found the hidden date in the ice and the Canadian rapper confirmed the mid May date.
Toronto based streamer Kishka successfully cracked the top of the approximately 25 foot sculpture using force as well as heat. He found a blue bag that had the following words: “Freeze the world.”
Acting on instructions from fellow live streamer Adin Ross, the successful streamer visited rapper Drake’s Bridle Path mansion. He opened the bag at the rapper’s home that is called The Embassy and revealed the drop date of Drake’s newest album to be May 15. Later, Drake confirmed that his album Iceman would drop on the same date.
Fan frenzy reached such heights that the city had to call in firefighters to douse the flames and melt the ice sculpture as music fans continued to chip away at the sculpture despite Kishka finding the reveal date, and the official confirmation of Friday, May 15 by the Canadian celebrity.
Drake has been hyping the release date this past year with snippets and singles. This has made web fans curious as well as impatient to know the release date of his album Iceman.
Another reason why music fans have been super excited is because this is the first album since his beef with Kendrick Lamar. Both Drake and Lamar have been dissing each other, and many fans and experts believe that Lamar has been more successful, as of now.
CWEB Celebrity reporters think that Iceman the latest album from Drake might give the Canadian rapper an edge while web fans will also enjoy the latest tracks from the album.
