Celebrity former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager and TV celebrity Hoda Kotb have been hosting a popular morning show for years. Hoda Kotb announced that she would be leaving the show next year. Jenna Bush Hager teared up after hearing the news. Many web fans were disappointed that Hoda was stepping away from the show. The co-host has been part of the morning show for decades and has a warm yet casual chemistry with Jenna Bush Hager.

After Hoda Kotb’s emotional announcement that she would be leaving the Today show in 2025, co-host Jenna Bush Hager became emotional as she recalled their strong start.
On the September 26 episode of TODAY, during the fourth hour, Jenna said, “You are who I come to, and you believed in me first.”
She added, “We have a lot of bosses, and I love them, but this lady, on Oct. 28, 2013, I looked it up and said, ‘Hey, want to come sit next to me? There’s room.’”
Hoda told Jenna, “Looking at you and seeing magic was one of the easiest things I’ve seen in my life.”
She also recalled how her co-host called former President George W Bush for fatherly support when she felt jittery at work.
Jenna recalled President Bush encouraged her and asked if she would be okay with the spotlight being on Hoda, as she has been the show’s star. Jenna replied, “Yeah, of course.”
Celebrity co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager have successfully hosted the Today Show for five years. Now Jenna will be the star, calling Thursday a “bittersweet, beautiful day” and more.
Hoda expressed how happy she would be to see Jenna as the star. She said that her recent 60th birthday had made her reflective, so she sought a change.
Many web fans look forward to Jenna and Hoda’s last three months as cohosts on the Today show. The network has not yet announced who will cohost the show with Jenna Bush Hager in 2025.
