On Saturday, the Screen Actors Guild honored films, TV performances, and male and female actors at The Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The 30th SAG Awards were live-streamed on Netflix. This award ceremony became the first major live show on the streaming platform. Earlier, the awards were broadcast in partnership with TNT and TBS. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer won the most awards. Celebrity actor Barbara Streisand was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper.
As they walked the red carpet, many celebrity stars glittered at the event, wearing glamorous gowns and suits paired with jewelry, handbags, and shoes. Lights went out for a few seconds on the red carpet, and there were a few gasps before they came on again.
The award ceremony precedes the Oscars, which will be held on March 10, and many of the awardees in SAG also go on to win Academy Awards.
