In a horrifying string of “execution style” killings in a Texas residence, a suspect brandishing an AR-15 style rifle left five people dead, according to authorities. The other five people in the home survived.
The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office has named the suspect as 38-year-old Francisco Oropeza, and a search is presently being conducted for him. According to the FBI’s Houston Field Office, they are helping with the ongoing search.
A judge set a $5 million bond and issued an arrest warrant for Oropeza. He is thought to have left the county and is armed and dangerous, according to the authorities.
The police have no leads as of now. His neighbor asked if Oropeza could please be quiet as her baby was unable to sleep due to the noise he was making. He then went ballistic and shot all five family members and friends. A mother and her 8 years old little boy were killed. When the police entered the home, they found two people over two children’s bodies indicating they were trying to save the children from the bullets fired.
The suspect was not in the United States illegally and it was reported he was deported five times. Police have announced an $80,000 reward leading to the information and capture of Oropeza.
