Four high school students are struggling for their lives after a 19-year-old ‘came in shooting’ at a Mississippi home party, according to witnesses, killing two kids, ages 16 and 18, and injuring two more.
A kid reportedly opened fire at a house party in southern Mississippi, killing two high school students and seriously injuring four more. The shooter who opened fire after midnight on Sunday near Bay St. Louis, roughly 29 miles (46 km) west of Biloxi, has been identified as 19-year-old Cameron Everett Brand, according to reports. A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old succumbed to their injuries. Reports said that the 18-year-old was recognized by family members as De’Arreis Smith.

Four of the pupils go to Hancock High School in Kiln, which is about 13 miles (21 km) from Bay St. Louis. Multiple gunshots were fired in the incident, according to video from the incident. The Bay High prom, which took place earlier on Saturday night, was not attended by any of the victims. All of the victims ranged in age from 15 to 18. According to a witness, Brand entered the house and immediately began firing, scattering the audience. On Sunday, there were blood trails outside the house.
