The administration will take steps that will ensure that the nation is prepared for all scenarios.
The statements and releases from the official website also said the President had already taken steps to restrict travel from the countries that had been most impacted by the newest Omicron variant of the coronavirus. It said that the government had more tools than before to fight the latest variant.
Another important step forward that will be taken by the administration is to extend the requirement of wearing a mask. The requirement for mask while traveling on airplanes, rail travel as well as public transportation is expected to be extended till March 18, 2022.
The statement also said that the President would use every resource that was available to help support major health agencies including the Food and Drug Administration ((FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
