Celebrity country singer Keith Urban has never denied that he has suffered from bouts of alcoholism though he has never opened up much on his addiction, as well. In a recent interview to a popular news outlet, the New Zealand born, Australian singer shared rare details about his alcoholism and how his beloved wife celebrity actor Nicole Kidman helped him towards sobriety. He has also dedicated a ballad to her.

Keith Urban had checked into a rehab center in Nashville, in 1998. About eight years later, he went back to rehab at his wife, celebrity actor Nicole Kidman’s insistence, in 2006, at the Betty Ford Center. When he appeared on the September 2021 cover on Rolling Stone Australia, he had also credited the Eyes Wide Shut actor for his survival as she had opened his eyes about dealing with his alcoholism which he didn’t consider to be serious. He said that she helped him “shake of the shackles of addiction.”

In an interview, with the Times this Sunday, he mentioned that he “had to find a different way to be in the world.” He also said that he was grateful that neither alcoholism nor had sobriety defined his creativity. He said that he was lucky that he “wrote plenty of hit songs while drunk” and “plenty sober.”

The Australian country singer also realized that he was allergic to booze. He had grown up in an alcoholic household and never realized that he was also becoming one until his wife Nicole Kidman intervened. The “Somebody Like You” singer has been married to celebrity actress Nicole Kidman from 15 years. They have two children. Keith Urban also dedicated a ballad called “Thank You” to her.

The multiple Grammy award winning singer said that he wanted his fans to enjoy themselves. He said that he had nothing against drugs or alcohol. He only wanted his audience to come to his shows and have a “great time.”

Keith Urban is a four-time Grammy winner. The number of his Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 hits is 21. He was featured on Taylor’s version of Fearless on the “From The Vault” track “That’s When.” In 2021, the country legend released his latest album called “The Speed of Now Part 1.”

As a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, auto industry analysts have lowered their production and sales predictions for the next two years. The crisis has resulted in the closure of industries in Eastern Europe, as well as increases in the pricing of already scarce raw resources.

Despite the invasion, some Ukrainian factories have attempted to continue operating. Workers have reportedly been forced to take time off work to avoid being hit by rockets.

In March, S&P Global Mobility decreased its global auto production forecast for 2022 and 2023 by 2.6 million vehicles in both years. In a worst-case scenario, up to 4 million automobiles would be lost.

The violence has resulted in logistical and supply chain issues, as well as essential vehicle component parts shortages. Technology Giant Google LLC is anticipated to unveil a new version of Android TV alongside a new operating system built on the platform. This version is expected a month or two after the final version of Android on which the OS will be built. The search engine giant introduced Android TV 12 roughly a month after Android 12 was released on Pixel phones last year.

While Android TV 13 has yet to be announced, two major upgrades have been revealed: an expanded picture-in-picture support and a low-power sleep mode.

The picture-in-picture mode is currently available on Android TV. Developers, on the other hand, can make PiP windows, if necessary. Google will extend this capability in Android TV 13 by letting developers construct PiP windows that are smaller or larger than this aspect ratio, as observed by Esper’s Mishaal Rahman.

A new activity method in Android 13 called setPreferDockBigOverlays suggests that users will be able to dock the PiP box with the main activity such that “both windows are obvious to the user.” A new “low power standby mode” for Android TVs is also included in Android 13.

When enabled, the function disables wake locks and prevents programs from accessing the network. When the TV is off or in sleep mode, apps do not need to access the internet or create additional wake locks, therefore this will be a useful improvement.

This should also result in a decrease in bandwidth utilization and a reduction in your smart TV’s energy consumption. During doze windows, these restrictions will be temporarily lifted, ensuring that programs do not become unusable.

If Google follows the same schedule as last year, Android TV 13 should be released in November. Most TV manufacturers take their time releasing fresh Android TV builds, so expect to wait a while to try out these new capabilities.

Pioneer celebrity Hip-Hop artist DJ Kay Slay dies after long battle with Covid

Keith Grayson, who is recognized by his musical moniker DJ Kay Slay died from complications arising due to to COVID-19, on Sunday, April 17. The hip-hop influencer and graffiti artist had been battling the infection from the last four months. His death was announced on Sunday, in a statement from his family to various news outlets and confirmed by radio station Hot 97.

The New York City radio station hot 97 confirmed the news of his passing away and shared a statement from his family. Tributes poured in from the music world. The iconic hip-hop DJ had hosted several shows from the radio station at the Big Apple. He was a pioneering artist who began to paint his talent on walls in NYC. However, as city authorities cracked down on graffiti, he moved to the turntable and began his career as a DJ at parties and at parks.

Due to low pay, he turned to petty crime and low level drug dealing and did a one year stint at prison. He came out and spent time helping those who had HIV and AIDS at a facility in Bronx. He also returned to his career as a DJ.

DJ Kay Slay began releasing mix tapes as he wanted to make it big as a musician. He told The Times that he convinced himself that he would be so big one day that the people whom he had begged for records would then beg him to play their records.

In the early 2000s he established himself in the city’s hip-hop scene but it was his diss tracks during two famous rap feuds: Nas vs Jay-Z and 50 Cent vs Ja Rule that catapulted him to fame. He also got a new title “The Drama King.”

In 2003, he released his first mainstream album The Streetsweeper, Vol. 1. He cut six studio albums, the last one was Soul Controller in 2021, along with several mix tapes. The celebrity hip-hop artist was the CEO of the magazine Straight Stuntin. DJ Kay Slay also hosted the popular weekly show “Drama Hour” on Hot 97.

Rihanna continued to stay fashionable throughout her pregnancy. She was accompanied by her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who had recently been accused of cheating on her, with a common friend Amina Muaddi, who designs for Fenty.

The Shade Room posted footage of Rihanna and her rapper boyfriend and their entourage which showed them exiting from the airport in Barbados. The power couple have been facing stress as rumors of the rapper’s infidelity with designer Amina Muaddi had been swirling through, earlier.

On Friday, Amina Muaddi blasted those who had spread such malicious rumors and gossip. The 36-year old shoe designer, who was the designer behind the 2020 Fenty collection, termed the rumors as “fake gossip.” She also described the cheating rumor as an “unfounded lie” that was “fabricated with such malicious intent.”

On Friday, Louis Pisano apologized on Twitter for being responsible for posting the unfounded rumors. He accepted that he made a “dumb decision” to post information that he had received. He acknowledged that he made the decision to draft the tweet, to press send and to put out the news with his name on it. He also said that he would not talk about sources or “blame others for a discussion that was started, etc.”

On Thursday, writer Louis Pisano, once described as “Instagram’s Messiest Fashion Influencer” had posted that “Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split.” He also said that the “Work” singer had split with her rapper boyfriend because he was caught cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, by Rihanna.

By moving to Barbados, celebrity couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky can spend quality time together as they prepare to welcome their new baby into the world amid the sylvan surroundings in Barbados, nestled among their family instead of malicious gossipers.

Among the carousel of pictures on her Instagram story, the one which stood out was a picture of her baby son’s celebrity daddy Travis Scott holding him, in his arms. Other pictures included those of her daughter Stormi and the Easter celebrations at their celebrity home.

The 24-year old makeup mogul shared a photo of the 30-year old rapper holding their son. Their baby is two and a half months old. He is wearing jeans and black sneakers. He is nestling into his father’s chest, in the picture. Kylie also shared a stylish outfit he got from Dior.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have named their son Wolf. Earlier, in a report from USA Today, the American model had said that she had felt rushed to pick a name for their son. She had told the outlet that they had to quickly sign his birth certificate and mention his name. She added that she knew that the name on the certificate “Wolf” would be changed.

Kylie Jenner has not as yet legally changed her son’s name but is in the process of doing so. She said that she knew that the original name on the certificate didn’t suit him and said that they would share his name after it is officially changed.

Kylie Jenner also shared pictures of her daughter Stormi. The pictures depict the four-year old hunting for easter eggs and posing with mother Kylie. Other pictures show large chocolate Easter eggs. They have the names of the family members frosted and so have the eggs on the children’s table. The children also have personalized bubble gum machines including one for Stormi and also for her cousins.

On Friday, Kim Kardashian mentioned on Live with Kelly and Ryan that the celebrity couple (Kylie and Travis) had come close to choosing a name and that it was a hard decision and that she had also struggled in the past to name her four children with ex Kanye West.

FantastIc Beasts 3 star Mads Mikkelsen speaks up on replacing Johnny Depp as Grindelwald

Mads Mikkelsen took over the role of the Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore after Johnny Depp was asked to leave the franchise by Warner Bros. following his public divorce and legal battles with ex wife Amber Heard. After the Friday release of the movie, actor Mads Mikkelsen had addressed the replacement issue.

Mikkelsen told The Hollywood Reporter that he essayed his role of Grindelwald differently from what was portrayed by Johnny Depp in the earlier franchise of Fantastic Beasts. He said that he quickly watched the first two movies in the franchise and then read the script of The Secrets of Dumbledore.

The Danish actor said that he thought that it was a great story and he didn’t want to “copy anything” that Depp had done as it termed it as “creative suicide.” He said even if a role was perfect an actor wanted to make it “his own.” He acknowledged that a bridge had to be built between the present role and what came before it.

In the third film of the franchise, the team made a few changes. They toned down the platinum in Mikkelsen’s hair, when compared with the Johnny Depp version. They also changed the right eye of Grindelwald from albino to slightly reptilian. Both the changes in physical appearance were subtle ones and these changes were reflected in Mikkelsen’s subtle approach while essaying his interpretation of the Dark Wizard.

The Secrets team also made a decision that they would not mention the change in appearance of Grindelwald. Mikkelsen said that it was deliberate as everybody knew the backstory. He said that they wanted to draw in the audience from scene one and then they would accept the film.

The intense actor, who is currently one of the most popular on screen villains in several movies, also told the outlet that he tries “to make every single scene the most important scene I’ve ever done.” This acting prowess can be seen as he channels his unique version of Gellert Grindelwald, the Dark Wizard in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, now playing at a screen near you.

EU Anti-Fraud Office Olaf report accuses RN candidate Marine Le Pen of embezzlement

Last month, the European Union’s Anti-Fraud Office sent a report detailing the fraudulent activities conducted by National Rally (RN) candidate Marine Le Pen to the French courts. The report says that she, her father Jean-Marie Le Pen, and people close to her or her party have totally embezzled almost 617, 379.77 euros from the Parliament of Strasbourg, when she was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP), between 2004 and 2017.

Mediapart revealed that the damning document from the European Anti-Fraud Office (Olaf) said that she had personally embezzled 136,993.99 euros. The outlet said that the report was sent to the French Courts on March 11. The Paris prosecutor’s office reportedly said that “it is being analyzed.”

Three other members, with connections to her or her political party, have also been accused of the same charges and have been directly implicated by Olaf. They include Jean-Marie Le Pen, the father of Marine Le Pen, who is accused of embezzling 303,545.76 euros, Louis Aliot, who was her former partner-companion, who is accused of embezzling 2,493.22 euros. Bruno Gollnisch, a member of RN is accused of of embezzling 43,257 euros and the far-right group Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF) is accused of embezzlement of 131,089 euros.

The report by Olaf mentioned the following charges
fraud
forgery
breach of trust
misappropriation of public funds for national or personal political purposes
over invoicing
fictitious services for the benefit of companies associated with the Front National (FN) a predecessor of RN
conflicts of interest.

The French investigative website contacted Marine Le Pen for comment. Her party lawyer Rodolphe Bosselut said that Marine Le Pen denied that she had done anything wrong and had also questioned the timing of the report but didn’t say anything else at the time of publication. Olaf has also not responded, as yet, when asked for comment, though Monday is a holiday in Belgium.

The French investigative outlet also said that Marine Le Pen and the party have used an old slogan which says: “Clean hands and heads held high.” This slogan might be in jeopardy, after the allegations of embezzlement and fraud in the Olaf report have come to light.

Kaley Cuoco, who is still known more for her role as Penny in The Big Bang Theory rather than other later successes brought Easter cheer to her fans and others with her latest social media post. The celebrity actor posted pictures of her wearing cute bunny ears. She shared her Easter celebrations outdoors on her Instagram story.

The Easter Bunny as bunny ears was not the only cute animal featured on her social media. She also posted pictures with ducks and goats (real ones unlike the bunny ears).

Kaley Cuoco has been busy with Season 2 premiere of the HBO Max series “The Flight Attendant.” She chilled over the weekend with a friend and posted cheery pictures of both of them at a farm. She and her friend posed in an outdoor, natural setting where they were holding ducks (actually geese).

Both the girls had wide smiles for the camera. Kaley was wearing a grey T-shirt and tight yoga pants while her friend was wearing a hat and a checked shirt. Kaley headlined the photo with these words, “Quick and Quack. Not us, the ducks.”

The Big Bang Theory alum has also created other headlines in the recent past as the hit thriller “The Flight Attendant” has started on its second season, this April.

Kaley Cuoco was also featured in Glamour, in April. The 36-year old actor spoke of her career and also of the end of her marriage to Karl Cook. They got married in 2018 and split in fall 2022. She was married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting, before she married Karl. She said that she would never get married again though she didn’t rule out being in a long term relationship in future.

Kaley said that she was “married” to her career. She said that she believed that change was good. She also mentioned that she grew the most in the last year and it had been a “life-changing year” for her. She also said that her life would “never be the same.”

As millions of people around the world celebrate Easter, on Sunday, all over the world, a favorite celebrity star is also facing a milestone birthday. Celebrity Jennifer Garner is 50-years old on April 17, 2022. The star had a lovely pre-birthday surprise as she was wished on her momentous day by her childhood celebrity idol, Donny Osmond, on Friday.

On Friday, an ecstatic Jennifer Garner posted a video on Instagram. Jennifer Garner is watching a video of 64-year old Donny Osmond, who is singing for her on the special day of her life–her 50th birthday. Suddenly someone appears from behind and completes the song, live!

The birthday girl gets up and hugs her childhood idol, Donny Osmond who has come in person to wish her. Osmond gives her a present–a birthday cake. The cake has a message on it which says: “13 going on 50.” This is an acknowledgment of her blockbuster film, “13 Going on 30.” Both Garner and Osmond sing a duet, following which she covers her face with a napkin, as she appears to be overwhelmed by the previous emotional moments.

She added a caption “My first (pre) birthday surprise was a doozy–the one and only, legend in his own time, object of my childhood adoration and devotion.” She tagged the legendary singer Donny Osmond in her post and continued saying that he “showed up to knock my purple socks off.”

She added that the legendary singer took an hour and a half of his day to sit with her, to sing her favorites and to give her “a master class on how to be a class act.” She thanked Donny and added a purple heart emoji.

She also wrote Hi and tagged Marie Osmond. She said that she hoped to meet her “some day, Debbie.” She added a heart emoji.

On this special day of Easter Sunday, a day renewal and forgiveness, we wish Jennifer Garner a happy 50th birthday, we thank Donny for the beautiful song we got to share with him and her and hope for a better future for all.
