Courtney Williams added 27 points on 12-for-20 shooting for Minnesota (25-6), which won its 10th game in a row. Napheesa Collier finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Kelsey Mitchell scored 37 points on 14-for-21 shooting to lead Indiana (19-11). Caitlin Clark notched a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists, and Aliyah Boston finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Indiana’s Sophie Cunningham finished with three points in 23 minutes off the bench.

The Fever pulled to within 100-98 with 2:37 to play after Mitchell made a pair of free throws.

But Minnesota closed the game on an 8-2 run to secure the victory. Natasha Howard hit a put-back layup with 1:52 remaining, and Miles converted a three-point play with 58.7 seconds left. Williams finished the scoring for the Lynx with a basket and a free throw.

The Lynx led 36-33 at the end of a frenzied first quarter. Mitchell made two 3-pointers and a layup in the final 2:11 of the quarter, but Minnesota’s Maya Caldwell drew a foul with 0.1 second to go and made one of two free throws to make it a three-point lead.

In the second quarter, the Lynx outscored the Fever 28-20 to increase their advantage to 64-53 at the half.

An 8-0 run helped Minnesota take control. The score was tied at 41-all when Caldwell and Miles knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers and Miles made a finger roll to make it 49-41 with 6:30 remaining before the break.

Cunningham trimmed Indiana’s deficit to eight when she made a 3-pointer with 37.5 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

But Collier responded with a 3-pointer on the next possession with 20.9 seconds to go. Williams assisted on the basket, which put the Lynx on top 87-76 after 30 minutes.

Both teams put on a shooting clinic as the victors hit 43-of-76 from the floor (56.6%) and 11-of-25 (44.0%) from behind the arc, while the Fever converted 39-of-68 (57.4%) from the field and 11-of-24 (45.8%) from distance.

The Lynx recorded 28 assists and only six turnovers.
