Abimelec Ortiz had two hits, including a home run, four pitchers combined on a four-hitter and the Nationals completed a three-game sweep with a 7-1 win over the visiting Cincinnati Reds on Sunday.

Keibert Ruiz had three hits for Washington, which has won four of five after losing seven straight.

Will Dion (1-0), one of four players acquired from the Cleveland Guardians in the Foster Griffin trade on Aug. 3, pitched three scoreless innings of relief while allowing one hit to earn the victory. Trevor Williams followed with 2 1/3 scoreless frames and Jake Bird closed it out.

Reds starter Brady Singer (5-11) went six innings, allowing three runs on eight hits. He struck out three and walked one.

Cincinnati jumped out in front in the second. Tyler Stephenson singled and Eugenio Suarez was hit by a pitch. Both runners moved up when Hector Rodriguez grounded out and Stephenson scored when Dane Myers flied out to right.

Dylan Crews and Jorbit Vivas opened the Washington second with singles. With one out, Ruiz singled to score Crews. Vivas went to third on the hit and scored on Jacob Young’s sacrifice fly to make it 2-1.

Ortiz led off the third with his second homer in eight games since being called up from Triple-A Rochester.

CJ Abrams singled to lead off the seventh for Washington, stole second and advanced to third on a failed pickoff attempt. After Brady House flied out to short right, Daylen Lile grounded a single to right, scoring Abrams to make it 4-1.

Vivas led off the eighth with an infield single. Andrew Pinckney pinch ran and stole second. After Nasim Nunez singled, Ruiz was intentionally walked to load the bases. Young brought in a run with a fielder’s choice grounder and, with two outs, Andres Chaparro doubled home two runs to make it 7-1.

Washington opener Brad Lord gave up a run on two hits in 2 2/3 innings.
