The Minnesota Wild acquired forward Nick Foligno from the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday in exchange for future considerations.

The elder Foligno, 38, will join his younger brother, Marcus, 34, in Minnesota.

The Wild were involved in two other trades before Friday’s deadline. They landed forward Bobby Brink from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for defenseman David Jiricek, and sent forward Vinnie Hinostroza to the Florida Panthers in exchange for future considerations.

Nick Foligno, who is the current captain of the Blackhawks, has 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 37 games this season. He is in the final season of a two-year, $9 million contract and set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the campaign.

Nick Foligno has totaled 608 points (250 goals, 358 assists) in 1,270 career games with the Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins and Blackhawks.

Brink, 24, has 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists) in 55 games this season with Philadelphia. The Minnetonka, Minn. native is scheduled to become a restricted free agent this summer.

Selected by the Flyers in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft, Brink has 94 points (36 goals, 58 assists) in 201 career games.

Jiricek, 22, has yet to record a point in 25 games this season with the Wild.

He has 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in 84 career games with the Blue Jackets and Wild. He was selected by Columbus with the sixth overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft before being traded to the Wild on Nov. 30, 2024.

Hinostroza, 31, had 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 48 games this season. He has 171 points (62 goals, 109 assists) in 460 career games with seven teams, including a brief stint with the Panthers in 2021.
