Sixteen Counter-Strike 2 teams are set to compete in a single-elimination playoff bracket at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris this week.
100 Thieves, K27, BIG, and JiJieHao qualified for the main event out of 64 that competed on-site in the Last Chance Qualifiers, which was part of determining the 32-team main event field. The LCQ was followed by a double-elimination group stage comprised of four groups of eight teams.
The final 16 remaining teams will compete for the largest share of the $2 million prize pool, while teams are also vying for key points in the Club Championship race. The CS2 playoffs begin with the Round of 16 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on Wednesday.
The CS2 tournament will conclude on Sunday, with the Esports World Cup announcing the final day at the Accor Arena has sold out.
