The New York Red Bulls signed homegrown forward Julian Hall to a contract extension through the 2029-30 MLS season on Thursday.

Financial terms were not disclosed for Hall, who became the second-youngest player in league history (behind Freddy Adu) to make his MLS debut when he did so at the age of 15 on Sept. 30, 2023.

“I’m really happy to sign a new contract with Red Bull New York,” Hall said in a statement. “This club has been a huge part of my development, and I’m grateful for everyone who has believed in me and helped me get to this point.

“I feel like I’m continuing to grow as a player, and I’m excited to keep working, keep improving and help this team achieve our goals.”

Hall, 18, has recorded a team-leading nine goals to go along with five assists in 21 matches (all starts) this season.

He has totaled 12 goals and six assists in 59 career matches (25 starts) with the club.

“Julian has become an important part of our first team, and we believe he will continue to play a significant role for us,” Red Bulls head of sport Julian de Guzman said.

“He has earned the trust of his teammates and coaching staff through his performances, his mentality and the way he continues to grow. This new contract reflects how highly we value Julian and the role we see him playing for our club.”
