On Father’s Day, Microsoft founder, billionaire and philanthropist Bill Gates posted a heartfelt tribute to his dad as well as all the dads. He is the father of three children: daughters Jennifer and Phoebe and son Rory as well as grandfather to one.
Bill Gates, who is now 67-years old, wrote on social media on Sunday: “Not a day that goes by that I don’t think about my dad. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads making lasting memories with their kids.”

Bill Gates had also shared the deep influence his father had in his life on social media, when he passed away. He described his father as someone who “pushed him” to do things that he hated as well as things that he was good at without being “prescriptive or domineering.”

Jennifer Gates not only wished her father on the special occasion of Father’s Day but also shared the name of his granddaughter, the same day. She said that their baby’s name was Leila “pronounced LAY-luh” and that she was now four months old.
Bill Gates had said that he started “looking at the world through a new lens” after his daughter shared the news that he would become a grandfather.
