At a The Weeknd concert in a Philadelphia football stadium, a man passed away following what appeared to be an accident.  The event was ending on July 14 when the man, according to officials, fell roughly 40 feet from an escalator inside Lincoln Financial Field last week. Later, a hospital declared him dead.

The male concertgoer fell roughly 40 feet at Lincoln Financial Field on July 14 and sustained head injuries, the Philadelphia Police Department said.  According to authorities, the 32-year-old male was admitted to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital shortly after 11:00 p.m. and died a few minutes later.

Live Nation, the company in charge of organizing the tour, was also in charge of promoting Travis Scott’s horrific Astroworld Festival, which resulted in ten fatalities and several injuries.

The man’s fall looks to have been an accident, according to authorities, they stated after conducting an investigation, according to the site. The incident most likely took place following the event, according to Bob Lange, senior vice president of communications for the Philadelphia Eagles football team, which manages Lincoln.
