Kanye West Tidal – CWEB.com
Kanye West has reportedly left TIDAL over a financial dispute, and JAY-Z is going to sue.
Kanye allegedly made the decision to walk away from Tidal about a month ago, when his lawyers sent a letter to the company claiming that his contract had been breached and therefore, terminated. Yeezy claims that Tidal owes him close to $3 million dollars, in part for a bonus that he was promised for scoring the company 500,000 new subscribers with his 2016 album “The Life of Pablo.” He also claims that Tidal was supposed to reimburse him for music videos and never came through.
To any given Tidal artist, I’d love to hear your new album. But Apple Music iTunes gives me access to hundreds of thousands of other albums I can listen to instead, including your older material in most cases. Not having your new album is an annoyance, but not worth switching for.
