The words “Kanye was right” were spray painted alongside a swastika in a park in Melbourne, Australia, last weekend, according to the Australian Jewish News.
A Jewish man who is the grandchild of Holocaust survivors reported the graffiti, which was discovered at Central Gardens Park in Hawthorn, Melbourne. The graffiti would be removed this week, according to the local council.
“Sadly, the recent spate of antisemitic remarks by celebrities has emboldened bigots all over the world, including here in Melbourne,” said Daniel Aghion, President of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV).
A 63-year-old victim suffered lacerations and a chipped tooth after being assaulted by this perpetrator inside Central Park.
Numerous anti-Jewish statements were made prior to the assault.

According to white supremacist channels and an antisemitism watchdog NGO, a banner proclaiming “Kanye West is right about the Jews” was hung over a Los Angeles highway in late October.
Another banner encouraged drivers to “honk if you know,” while a third promoted Goyim TV, a YouTube clone dedicated to anti-Semitic, white supremacist, and neo-Nazi video content.
Chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission Dvir Abramovich told the AJN he is “not surprised” to see that “neo-Nazis have embraced rapper Kanye West’s hate-filled and threatening comments against the Jewish community”.
Similar incidents have occurred throughout the Jewish diaspora since American rapper Kanye West launched an infamous antisemitic tirade, which earned West the dishonorable title of “Antisemite of the Year.”

In an appearance on InfoWars by Alex Jones, Kanye professed his love for “Jewish people” but added that he also “likes Nazis.” He also mentioned that he could see “good things about Hitler.” In his interview with the Proud Boys founder he asked the Jewish people to forgive Hitler.
Kanye has also been seen in the company of Nick Fuentes, who is a known white supremacist. Although he has lost so much personally and professionally: friendships, business partnerships and an honorary degree mainly due to his antisemitic remarks, the popular rapper is staying on course with his remarks whose repercussions could be much more than he might ever realize ! Fans are very upset.
