Trump’s inaugural speech had many firsts, including his declaration that there “are only two genders: male and female.” He also said that he would “forge a society that is colorblind and merit-based.”
Trump also spoke of ending wars and more and took credit for the return of Israeli hostages. Former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris, who helped broker the peace deal, stood up and applauded the return of the hostages.
He also mentioned ending “the chronic disease epidemic” and reinstating service members “unjustly expelled” from the nation’s military due to their objections to COVID mandates by the outgoing administration.
