The 49-year-old star called celebrity actors Keanu Reeves and Robert Sean Leonard “absolute legends” as they saved her from an embarrassing clothing malfunction at the 1993 premiere of Much Ado About Nothing at the Cannes Film Festival.

In her social media post Kate said that she had bought a body suit from a Sock Shop located at the airport. However, during the car ride with celebrity couple Denzel and Pauletta Washington, she said that “all the poppers in the crotch popped themselves open and it flipped like a roller blind.”

She said that she found it inappropriate to mention the clothing malfunction but whispered what happened to celebrity co-stars Keanu Reeves and Robert Sean Leonard. She explained how both helped her by “holding the back gusset” while she held the front one down.
She described them as “absolute legends” who might not have understood what had happened nor would they have “heard the word gusset before” and commended them for saving her from what could have turned out to be public embarrassment as they “jumped in” to save her “no questions asked.”
