OpTic Texas and FaZe Vegas will have a rematch in the grand final on Sunday at the 2026 Call of Duty League Championship in Las Vegas.
FaZe Vegas has gone unscathed at 3-0 in the event, including a 3-2 decision over OpTic Texas in the winners final on Saturday.
This is the final event and the world championship of the Black Ops 7 competitive season.
Eight of 12 teams qualified for the CDL Championship in the regular season from Dec. 5, 2025 to June 28, led by first-place OpTic Texas (40-12, +69).
The format is a double-elimination bracket, with all matches best-of-five except for Sunday’s grand final, which is best-of-nine. There is a $2 million prize pool, with the winning team taking home $800,000.
FaZe Vegas outlasted OpTic Texas 3-2 on Saturday. Vegas opened with a 250-245 win on Scar Hardpoint before Texas responded with wins on Den Search and Destroy (6-5) and Exposure Overload (4-2). FaZe Vegas closed out with wins on Den Hardpoint (250-164) and Hacienda Search and Destroy (6-2).
Vegas’ Chris “Simp” Lehr of the United States was selected match MVP with 114 kills and a plus-17 K-D differential.
Also on Saturday, the Riyadh Falcons swept the Miami Heretics 3-0 in Elimination Round 2, winning 250-122 on Hacienda Hardpoint, 6-1 on Gridlock Search and Destroy and 2-0 on Gridlock Overload.
Riyadh’s McArthur “Cellium” Jovel of the United States was selected match MVP with 56 kills and a plus-20 kill-death differential. All four Falcons players had a K-D differential in positive numbers, while all four Heretics were in negatives.
In the other Elimination Round 2 match, the Paris Gentle Mates swept G2 Minnesota, triumphing 250-183 on Den Hardpoint, 6-4 on Fringe Search and Destroy and 6-2 on Exposure Overload.
The Gentle Mates’ Joseph “JoeDeceives” Romero of the United States was selected match MVP with 70 kills and a plus-22 K-D differential.
The Riyadh Falcons stayed alive with a 3-2 victory over the Paris Gentle Mates in Elimination Round 3. The Falcons started fast, winning 250-138 on Den Hardpoint and 6-4 on Fringe Search and Destroy. But Paris drew even with victories on Scar Overload (2-1) and Sake Hardpoint (250-198). Riyadh won on Raid Search and Destroy 6-4 to take the match.
The Falcons’ Mohammed “Alluka” Bindal of Germany was match MVP with 87 kills and a plus-8 differential.
OpTic Texas knocked out the Falcons 3-1 in the Elimination final. Texas opened with a 250-153 victory on Hacienda Hardpoint, then Riyadh drew level with a 6-2 win on Den Search and Destroy. OpTic closed out with wins on Scar Overload (7-2) and Gridlock Hardpoint (250-155).
Texas’ Cuyler “Huke” Garland of the United States was match MVP with 87 kills and a plus-17 K-D differential.
