Celebrity actor Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable condition with injuries sustained in a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” according to his spokesperson on Sunday.
Renner, a two-time Oscar nominee, stars in The Mayor of Kingstown, a returning Paramount+ series, and Marvel’s Hawkeye series on Disney+, as well as the Avengers and Captain America films.
The 51-year-old actor, a two-time Academy Award nominee, was airlifted to the hospital on Sunday, according to his spokesperson who spoke to Deadline, who stated that he was involved in a ‘weather-related accident while plowing snow.’

Jeremy Renner, a machine enthusiast, frequently posts photos and videos of himself enjoying his home in Lake Tahoe, where he can be seen plowing his driveway.
Renner has a home in the area, about 25 miles from Reno, near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal. According to the paper, a winter storm hit the region on New Year’s Eve, causing 35,000 homes in Northern Nevada’s Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey, and Lyon counties to lose power as of this morning.
