Saniya Rivers stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists as No. 5 North Carolina State outlasted rival No. 24 North Carolina for a 63-59 win on Thursday night in Raleigh, N.C.

Mimi Collins added 14 points and seven rebounds for NC State (19-2, 7-2 Atlantic Coast Conference). She also knocked down two 3-pointers on a night when the Wolfpack made just 18.8 percent of their attempts from deep. Aziaha James and Zoe Brooks each added 10 points.

It was the second straight loss for UNC (15-7, 7-3), which got 10 points and 11 rebounds each from Alyssa Ustby and Maria Gakdeng. Deja Kelly scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the third quarter to help the Tar Heels erase a 10-point deficit.

After Reniya Kelly’s 3-pointer with 3:45 to play, neither team scored again until Rivers knocked down a free throw with seven seconds left, pushing the Wolfpack’s lead to two possessions to seal the win.

No. 1 South Carolina 76, Auburn 54

Ashlyn Watkins had 14 points and a season-high 15 rebounds as the Gamecocks topped the Tigers in Auburn, Ala.

Still undefeated on the season, South Carolina (20-0, 8-0 Southeastern Conference) also got 15 points from Milaysia Fulwiley, 13 points from Kamilla Cardoso, and 10 points and six assists from Raven Johnson. Watkins also added three steals and a team-leading five blocks.

Auburn (14-7, 3-5) was powered by senior Honesty Scott-Grayson, who tied a career high with 31 points.

No. 8 Ohio State 87, Wisconsin 49

Cotie McMahon had 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Buckeyes raced away from the Badgers in Columbus, Ohio.

Ohio State (18-3, 9-1 Big Ten) was also boosted by 17 points and five assists from Jacy Sheldon, 11 points and seven boards from Eboni Walker and 10 points from Celeste Taylor. Serah Williams led Wisconsin (10-10, 3-7) with 16 points.

The Buckeyes led by just five points at halftime, but then outscored the Badgers 39-11 in the third quarter. Ohio State went on to lead by as many as 40 points as it scored 36 points off 27 Wisconsin turnovers.

No. 12 Texas 67, No. 13 Baylor 55

Madison Booker scored 22 points to power the Longhorns past the host Bears in Waco, Texas.

Aaliyah Moore added 19 points and seven rebounds for Texas (20-3, 7-3 Big 12), while Taylor Jones tallied 14 points, nine rebounds, four steals and three assists. Texas won despite shooting just 1-of-7 from 3-point land. Instead, the Longhorns got their points inside, outscoring the Bears 38-18 in the paint.

Sarah Andrews was the lone player to score in double figures for Baylor (16-4, 5-4), with 11 points and nine assists. Aijah Blackwell had a team-high 11 rebounds and seven points.

No. 14 Notre Dame 85, Georgia Tech 48

Hannah Hidalgo scored a season-high 35 points — breaking the school freshman record she set Saturday — as the Fighting Irish routed host the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta.

Hidalgo shot 15 of 25 and also piled up eight assists and six steals for the Fighting Irish (16-4, 6-3 ACC). Kylee Watson added 19 points and nine rebounds.

Kara Dunn had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Yellow Jackets (13-9, 4-6).

No. 16 Louisville 81, No. 21 Syracuse 69

Kiki Jefferson scored 21 points to help the host Cardinals beat the Orange.

Louisville (19-3, 8-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) was also aided by 18 points and 14 rebounds from Nyla Harris, 14 points from Nina Rickards and 13 points from Sydney Taylor.

Dyaisha Fair powered Syracuse (17-4, 7-3) with 28 points.

No. 17 Virginia Tech 76, Virginia 63

Elizabeth Kitley scored a season-high 33 points as the Hokies beat the Cavaliers in front of a sold-out crowd in Blacksburg, Va.

Kitley also tied her season-high in rebounding with 18 boards in the fourth straight win for Virginia Tech (17-4, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference). Georgia Amoore added 20 points and 14 assists for the Hokies, while Matilda Ekh chipped in 13 points. The Hokies outrebounded Virginia 47-31.

Kymora Johnson powered Virginia (10-11, 2-8) with 22 points, while Paris Clark added 18 points.

No. 19 Gonzaga 80, San Diego 52

Kaylynne Truong had 11 points and 12 assists as the Bulldogs ran away from the Toreros in San Diego.

Truong’s sister, Kayleigh, added 12 points, Brynna Maxwell scored 19, and Yvonne Ejim and Eliza Hollingsworth each had 14 points and eight rebounds apiece as Gonzaga (21-2, 8-0 West Coast Conference) won its 15th straight game. Gonzaga shot 46.2 percent (12 of 26) from 3-point land.

Dylan Horton led San Diego (4-17, 0-8) with 13 points.
