As the holiday season is on, both Walmart and Sam’s Club have offered a huge variety of merchandise, some with heavy discounts so that all their customers can shop and pick gifts for themselves, their families and their friends. Despite supply chain issues plaguing the nation both the big box retailer and Sam’s Club have not only filled their shelves as much as possible but have also marked down prices.
Although the nation’s largest employer is always looking for partnerships and new merchandise or facilities to increase customer satisfaction, Walmart also cares for the wellbeing of its employees. So, it will be shutting its stores a few hours earlier on Thursday and Friday to enable employees to spend time with family and friends.
Sam’s Club is also closing earlier than usual to let its employees spend time with their families and friends as their employees work extremely hard during the holiday season.
Many of the employees work overtime as well to ensure that their customers are able to complete most if not all their shopping by Christmas, although there will be deals in the New Year, as well.
The early closing times are as follows:
Sam’s Club
On Thursday, December 23, Sam’s Club stores will work from 9 a.m to 8 p.m.
On Friday, December 24–Christmas Eve the stores will work from 9 a.m to 6 p.m.
Walmart
On Thursday, December 23, Walmart stores will work from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
On Friday, December 24–Christmas Eve the stores will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There is always some last minute shopping so many people have to do on Christmas eve but do make a note and reach your nearest Walmart or Sam’s Club store before the stores close and pick up the gifts or other essential items you need before Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
