On Tuesday afternoon, Prince Harry visited his father, King Charles, in London, UK, and left for Los Angeles, US, the next day. There was no meeting between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry.
Prince Harry visited his father, Prince Charles III, at Clarence House, one of the king’s residences in London. On Wednesday, Prince Harry reportedly stayed at a hotel and flew back to Los Angeles, US.
King Charles III was seen leaving Clarence House for Buckingham Palace with Queen Camilla. This was his first public appearance after the announcement of his cancer diagnosis. They flew from the Palace grounds by helicopter to Sandringham. They arrived at their Norfolk estate Tuesday afternoon, after 4.30 p.m. Some reports say they were delayed due to Prince Harry’s dramatic, impromptu visit, resulting in them staying back in London for half the day.
On Thursday, Queen Camilla attended an event at Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire. She participated in a musical concert that celebrated the work of local charities. She was asked about how King Charles was doing. She said that he was “doing extremely well under the circumstances.” She also stated that he “was touched by all the letters and messages” his web fans have sent him worldwide. She described this as “very cheering.”
On Wednesday, Prince William attended a fundraising event for the London Air Ambulance. He said he was grateful for the “kind messages” of support they had received from many for the King and his wife, Princess Catherine.
The Prince of Wales also attended an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle earlier on Wednesday. This was his first return to public duty after his wife, the Princess of Wales, had undergone abdominal surgery.
Princess Anne also attended royal duties on Wednesday, including one at a military barracks in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Reporters asked her about her brother, King Charles, but the Princess Royal did not respond.
