The top 2023 MTV Video Music Awards nominees are led by Taylor Swift and SZA.

12 Time Grammy award winner Taylor Swift is in first place with eight, followed by SZA, who has six, for her “Anti-Hero” music video and an artist of the year nomination.
Both received awards in the Video of the Year category for their respective films, Anti-Hero and Kill Bill. Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith, and Kim Petras, who are all tied for second with five nominations, are following them. Diddy, Shakira, and BLACKPINK each received four.

Petras, Metro Boomin’, and Rema, who each received three nominations, are among the record-breaking 35 first-time nominees for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, which are set for September 12.

Swift presently has 14 VMAs under her belt, which places her in fourth place behind Lady Gaga 19 awards, Beyonce’s 28 awards (who is also u for artist of the year award), Madonnas 20 , and Beyoncé s two with Destiny’s Child).
