The Princess of Wales, Catherine, is a patron of the All England Lawn and Tennis Club and was at hand to present the winning trophy to the Women’s Singles Champion at Wimbledon, on Saturday. She looked lovely in a lime green dress, which she paired with pearl and diamond flower earrings, a bracelet, and a stone ring. Although web fans were entranced by the beautiful princess, Kate Middleton also thrilled her fans with a wave and her gestures to the winner and runner up.
The Princess of Wales braved inclement weather conditions in London, as she attended the Women’s Finals in Wimbledon. Kate Middleton is a keen follower of the game and was seen appreciating the highs and lows of the match between finalists Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova.
Kate Middleton presented the winning trophy to unseeded Czech player Marketa Vondrousova. The 24-year-old Czech player created history as she became the first Grand Slam player to win the title unseeded after she entered the tournament as an unseeded player.
Kate Middleton also hugged the runner up Tunisian player Ons Jabeur, who was visibly upset after she lost the finals. She was in tears but the Princess of Wales managed to get her to give a small smile as she presented her with the runners-up trophy. This came after she received a warm and comforting hug from Kate Middleton. Web fans highly appreciated the warm gesture by the Princess of Wales.
Unseeded Czech player Vondrousova won the Wimbledon finals in straights sets: 6-4, 6-4 at the Center Court. She will be celebrating her first anniversary on Sunday with husband Stepan Simek.

She is also planning to get another tattoo and drink some beer.
Kate Middleton watched the match at the royal box, along with tennis legends Martina Navratilova and Billie Jean King. She was photographed discussing something with the legend. With Billie Jean King’s tennis acumen and the Princess of Wales love for tennis, the conversation might have been about the finer points of the game of tennis, at their favorite venue, Wimbledon.
