Fnatic are reportedly parting ways with League of Legends coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi.
The 26-year-old Swede has held the position since November 2020 after previous coaching stints with SANDBOX Gaming, Team Vitality, Splyce and others.
Per multiple reports, Fnatic will promote their academy team coach Goncalo “Crusher” Brandao to fill the position.
YamatoCannon guided Fnatic to LoL World Championship appearances in 2021 and 2022. They improved to a 9th-10th-place finish this year after finishing 14th-16th in 2021.

On the podcast, Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari got back together to discuss lots of things concerning Laguna Beach, MTV’s reality TV series following a group of high schoolers. Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad had been locked in a multi-season (and heavily edited) dispute over Stephen Colletti.
Stephen Colletti was joined by the former reality show co-stars for Cavallari and Colletti’s “Back to the Beach” rewatch podcast, which provides a current-day overview of the series. Conrad, who was the guest this week, admitted to binge-watching the MTV series when she and Covid were homesick.
The group clarified the truth about what actually transpired during the production of the reality series, which debuted in 2004. After three seasons, “Laguna Beach” came to an end in 2006; neither Conrad nor Cavallari appeared in the last episode. The Hills, a spinoff that first portrayed Conrad’s life in Los Angeles, would eventually feature both of them as its stars. Conrad was eventually replaced by Cavallari midway through the fifth season of the show, but the two never shared screen time. Since then, Conrad has established a number of businesses, married William Tell, and begun a family. The couple and their two sons are back in Laguna Beach, California.

Atlanta United signed defender Brooks Lennon to a contract extension through the 2025 season with an option for 2026, the team announced Wednesday.
Lennon, 25, has tallied four goals and 16 assists in 80 matches (71 starts) since joining Atlanta in a 2020 trade with Real Salt Lake.
“We are pleased to sign Brooks to a long-term contract with our club,” vice president and technical director Carlos Bocanegra said in a release. “Brooks has been one of the most consistent performers over the past few seasons.
“He’s coming into the prime of his career and provides great MLS experience for our group. He consistently gets into dangerous positions on the field and creates chances for us, and we’re excited for his future at Atlanta United.”

Robinhood shares fell by 14 percent, on Tuesday after the FTX fallout. FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has a roughly 7.5 percent stake in Robinhood, making him one of the company’s large shareholders. Crypto exchange Binance proposes to takeover FTX, which is suffering from a liquidity crunch.
According to the Wall Street Journal, on Tuesday, Dan Dolev, a managing director at Mizuho Securities wrote a note to clients that said, “Investors may question the future of SBF’s” stake in the company as Bankman-Fried had purchased a large number of Robinhood stocks in Robinhood Markets Inc., in May 2022, according to a regulatory filing, as reported by the Journal.
Mr Dolev also noted that Robinhood generated only about 14 percent of its revenue from crypto token trading. This made it more diversified than Coinbase.
In another report Bloomberg reported that Robinhood customers were given access to 23 IPOs all of whose stocks fell by double-digits. One of these stocks included Robinhood. The analysis by Bloomberg of the company’s program IPO Access indicates that “it has been a flop for investors, so far.”
Bloomberg reported that users bought “buzzy companies” shares including Sweetgreen Inc. and Allbirds Inc. before the companies’ IPO debuts. Customers who still hold the shares have faced losses. The outlet also added that all IPOs offered by Robinhood underperformed at the stock exchange and five of the 23 companies offered by Robinhood saw an at least 89 percent decline in their value.
According to Bloomberg, Robinhood’s public offering has also not done well. Shares were sold to more than 300,000 users at $38 per share. The outlet says that those who have kept the shares have received a beating as the stock fell by 10 percent and was at $10.98 at 10:15 a.m. in New York, on November 8, 2022, as per the outlet. This indicates that the decline is about 72 percent since its IPO, in July 2021.

The NHL fined Minnesota Wild star forward Kirill Kaprizov $5,000 on Wednesday for roughing Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty.
The amount is the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement.
The 25-year-old forward could have been suspended after picking up a five-minute match penalty for intent to injure after he slammed his stick across Doughty’s mouth and chin. Kaprizov was ejected in the second period of the Wild’s 1-0 loss in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Kaprizov has recorded 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in 12 games this season. He has 172 points (82 goals, 90 assists) in 148 games since making his Wild debut in 2020-21.
