The White House said on Tuesday that the Trump administration strongly supports a bill to repeal regulations requiring internet service providers to do more to protect customers’ privacy. The United States Senate just voted and passed a bill that will allow Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to sell your internet browsing history. It passed in the Senate 50-48. The data is labelled “anonymous” and may remove identifiers like email address and physical addresses entered in web forms and other variants to try and scrub some of that personally identifiable information.
