On Friday, Kaley Cuoco, who is an avid equestrian, posted on Instagram that she was willing to buy Saint Boy, a horse that was punched by a coach at the Tokyo Olympics, after it had refused to jump fences. She said, “Name your price.” She later confirmed that she was serious about the offer and shared news stories of her offer.
The Flight Attendant actress said that she believed that it was her duty and heart to comment on the disgrace and that it was not “Olympic show jumping.” She called it a “disgusting, classless, abusive representation” of the sport and said that the team should be ashamed of themselves.
The Big Bang Theory actress addressed rider Annika Schleu and coach Kim Raisner and told them that they did not make their country proud not the sport.
In another post she said that the rider and her trainer were a disgrace, and they didn’t represent the sport as it was. She said that she would buy the horse outright and would show it the life it deserved and asked them to name their price.
Earlier coach Kim Raisner was banned from further participation by the German team as well as the UIPM, the governing body for the pentathlon. Germany’s Olympic team chief Alfons Hoermann also said that they would consider an urgent review of the incident, especially in terms of animal abuse. The chief also said that both national and international federations would “draw their conclusions.”
Kailey Cuoco is a keen horse rider and is the owner of several horses. She is married to horse trainer Karl Cook. They met at an equestrian event and share a common passion for horses. The actress has often posted pictures of her horses on Instagram Stories. Kailey Cuoco also shares her love of horses with Flight Attendant costar Zosia Mamet.
