Jewelry designer Ranin Karimi recently claimed that she had an affair with celebrity Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz on the MTV reality show “Ex on the Beach.” The 35-year old woman said that she didn’t want to be called his mistress but preferred the term “mystery woman.” The pastor was fired by the church after his wife Laura, to whom he is still married, found out about his extramarital affair. Karimi has also appeared in a docuseries on Discovery+ titled “Hillsong: A Megachurch exposed.”

Ranin Karimi is appearing in season five of the popular reality MTV show “Ex on the Beach.” This is the show where she preferred to describe herself as a mystery woman rather than a mistress and where a cast member of the same show said that her affair sounded “shady” and that he felt “uncomfortable.” The reality show by MTV has eight single strangers on the beach. They enjoy a holiday together but it is marred by the appearance of their exes.

The New York City fashion designer had met the 42-year old pastor in Domino Park in NYC. Karimi claims that she had tried to stop meeting Lentz after she came to know that he was married. However, he allegedly kept showing up at her apartment with high end tequila bottles. The affair ended abruptly after his wife Laura Lentz found text messages between Ranin and Carl.

Karimi has spoken a lot about her alleged affair with disgraced pastor Lentz on the Discovery+ docuseries. She said that that if she could go back in time and would not have ever met him, she would do so. She also shares relevant details and defines her relationship with him as “the most toxic thing I’ve ever had to deal with” on the series titled “Hillsong: A Megachurch exposed.”

Carl Lentz was a high profile pastor who belonged to the charismatic Hillsong church. He was close to Justin Bieber, though the Baby singer has started distancing himself from the celebrity pastor much before the scandal broke out. Earlier, he had also performed services for other celebrities including Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The celebrity pastor also delivered services for Selena Gomez and actor Chris Pratt. He was fired after his extramarital affair came to light.

On Friday, actor and recent Oscar award winner Will Smith tendered his resignation and said that he is leaving the organization voluntarily. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has accepted his resignation. The Board of Directors at Academy had begun self-described disciplinary proceedings against the “King Richard” actor after he slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage for making fun of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair style. The comedian was unaware that she suffered from Alopecia, a hair condition.

Will Smith might have been expecting harsh action against him by the AMPAS for his violent behavior on stage and might have decided to resign before he was formally asked to leave, according to sources. The actor reached fame decades ago from his appearance in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a popular sitcom that debuted in 1990. He has been a member of the Academy from 2001.

Smith released a statement that said that his “actions at the 94th Academy Awards presentation were shocking, painful and inexcusable.”

He added that he wanted to put focus back on those who had “deserved attention for their achievements. He completed the statement by saying that change took time and that he was committed to working on himself so that he would not “allow violence to overtake reason.”

The Academy said that it had accepted his resignation. President David Rubin also said that they would “continue to move forward” with proceedings. Their next meeting is scheduled to take place on April 18. Sources say that the full extent of actions against him cannot be gauged. However, they believe that he would no lose his Oscar award as those who faced disciplinary actions didn’t lose their award in the past, one of whom is Harvey Weinstein.

Earlier on Wednesday, Chris Rock has said that he was “still kind of processing what happened.” On Oscar day, the 37-year old comedian had magnanimously chosen not to press charges against Will Smith, so no arrests were made by the Los Angeles Police Department. He can still press charges, if he wishes to do so.

On Wednesday, Jada Pinkett Smith posted a few words on Instagram. She said that it was “a season for healing and I’m here for it.”

After celebrity actor Will Smith hit comedian Chris Rock on stage to a stunned audience, producer of Oscars 2022, Will Packer, revealed what happened behind the scenes on the fateful celebrity night.

Packer said that the Los Angeles Police Department was ready to arrest Smith after he walked on stage, and slapped Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, his wife. He made the statement in an interview with TJ Holmes, which aired Friday on “Good Morning America.”

When Rock entered the stage to present the award for outstanding documentary feature, Packer, who oversaw the first all-Black production team for the Oscars, said he was sure Rock would make the audience laugh. As things took a turn, Packer said his “heart plummeted.”

Just moments after the incident, Packer recalls requesting Rock to leave the stage. Rock faced him and said that he had just got punched by Muhammad Ali. He was cracking jokes, but it was obvious he was reeling from the shock.

The producer said that the LAPD, who spoke to him in his office, laid out Chris’ rights in detail. They termed the incident as “battery,’ and wanted to arrest him once Rock pressed charges on Smith.

Rock was “dismissive” of the options police gave, according to Packer, saying he was “fine.” Smith was asked to leave by the Academy, but he refused, according to a statement released Wednesday.

While Rock has remained tight-lipped on what happened between him and Smith, he did tell an audience at his first comedy act since the Oscars on Wednesday night that he is still “processing what happened” and that he will speak about it later.

However, Smith’s slapping of Chris Rock during the Oscars seems to be supported by New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who said the ‘King Richard’ actor ought to keep his prize because he was having a ‘poor day.’

Adams said he does not condone the hit, but he understands why the actor did it. When he was mocked on TV, the mayor said he had to bite his tongue. He also said that Smith should not forego his award and that everyone had bad days. Web Fans are watching and asking questions.

The Grammy are back at a live venue! The popular music awards ceremony will be held this Sunday,. The location of the 64th Grammy Awards was scheduled to be held in January 2022 in Los Angeles but will now be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 3. It will be broadcast live on CBS: 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. It can also be viewed on Apple TV, Roku, or Fire TV. It can be streamed live and on demand on Paramount+ is another option available for viewers.

Trevor Noah, who is a comedian and the host of the The Daily Show, will host this year’s greatest musical awards show. He will crack jokes on some of the nominees but contingency plans have been made to avoid any incidents like Slapgate at the Oscars where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for cracking a joke on wife Jada’s hair style.
