Anaheim Ducks forward Troy Terry is expected to be sidelined for five to six months after undergoing surgery last week to address a hip impingement and labral tear, the team announced Thursday.
The recovery time will force Terry to miss the start of the 2026-27 season.
Terry, 28, recorded 57 points (19 goals, 38 assists) in 61 games this past season for Anaheim. He missed 11 games in January due to an upper-body injury and sat out nine games after the Olympic break due to an upper-body injury.
Terry finished second on the team with 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 12 games in the playoffs.
Entering his fourth season of a seven-year contract worth $49 million, Terry has totaled 342 points (135 goals, 207 assists) in 488 career games with the Ducks. He was selected by Anaheim in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
