Ata Johnson, the mother of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, was hurt in a serious vehicle accident on Thursday morning.
The “Black Adam” actor posted a picture of the car on Instagram with significant front passenger side damage.
Dwayne Johnson’s post wrote –
“Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night. She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated. This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver. She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real.
Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on the phone and telling me through it all. I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3am call we never want to get.”

Dwayne did not provide any additional details about the crash, but he did say it occurred somewhere in Los Angeles… and thanked the LAPD and LAFD for their rescue efforts.
“I only have one parent left,” Dwayne wrote on social media, “so if you still have your mom and dad, make sure you hug ’em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3am call we never want to get.”
