Michael A. Taylor had a career-high three doubles and drove in three runs and Luis Robert Jr. homered in the Chicago White Sox’s 10-3 win over the host Athletics on Saturday in Sacramento, CA.

It was the White Sox’s second win in three games, and they snapped the Athletics’ season-high three-game winning streak.

Taylor also scored two runs and stole a base, Robert scored three runs and Edgar Quero had two hits, scored twice, drove in a run and drew two walks.

Jonathan Cannon (1-3) got the win as the primary pitcher, allowing three runs on six hits in 7 2/3 innings, walking two and striking out five. He entered the game to start the second after Tyler Gilbert pitched a scoreless first as the opener.

Luis Urias homered for the Athletics.

Athletics starter and loser Jeffrey Springs (3-3) allowed seven runs, five earned, on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

Chicago jumped on Springs for four runs in the top of the first.

After the leadoff batter was retired, Robert launched a 2-2 changeup over the left-field fence for his third home run.

Quero followed with a walk and, with two out, the White Sox got consecutive RBI doubles from Lenyn Sosa, Taylor and Brooks Baldwin for the 4-0 lead.

Chicago added two more in the second on Quero’s run-scoring single and Andrew Vaughn’s sacrifice fly to make it 6-0. It was aided by an error on Athletics third baseman Gio Urshela on Robert’s grounder.

The Athletics scored on a groundout by Miguel Andujar in the fourth. It scored Brent Rooker, who led off with a double and advanced to third on a groundout.

Jacob Amaya’s sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth stretched the lead to 7-1.

Taylor drove in two with his third double of the game and Bobby Dalbec brought in another run with an infield single in the top of the seventh.

Urias led off the bottom of the seventh with his third homer and Nick Kurtz added an RBI single in the ninth.
