Ryan Kreidler hit a go-ahead homer in the bottom of the seventh inning, and the Minnesota Twins held on for a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.

Kody Clemens also homered for Minnesota, which won the rubber match of the three-game series. Royce Lewis doubled and scored a run.

TJ Rumfield and Troy Johnston each had two hits and an RBI for Colorado. Cole Carrigg went 2-for-3 with a double.

Twins right-hander Andrew Morris (4-2) struck out two batters in 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. He followed left-hander Connor Prielipp, who allowed two runs on six hits in six innings and finished with no walks and 10 strikeouts.

Rockies right-hander Seth Halvorsen (0-1) allowed one run on three hits in two-thirds of an inning. He followed right-hander Ryan Feltner, who limited the Twins to two runs (one earned) on five hits in six innings.

Twins right-hander Yoendrys Gomez pitched a scoreless ninth for his eighth save of the season and his seventh since joining Minnesota.

The Rockies jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Rumfield stepped to the plate with runners on first and third with one out, and he delivered with an RBI infield single.

The Twins evened the score in the bottom of the second. Lewis hit a leadoff double and came around to score on an infield single by Brooks Lee and a throwing error by Rockies third baseman Kyle Karros.

Minnesota grabbed a 2-1 lead in the fourth. Clemens pulled a solo shot over the wall in right for his 13th homer of the series and his second in the past three games.

The Rockies battled back to tie the score at 2 in the sixth. Rumfield reached on an infield single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Carrigg and scored on a single by Johnston.

Kreidler gave the Twins a 3-2 lead in the seventh. He tracked a 98-mph fastball and drove it 421 feet to center for his fifth homer of the season.
