Travis d’Arnaud worked his extra-innings magic again, singling home pinch runner Luke Williams in the 10th inning as the Atlanta Braves outlasted the host San Francisco Giants 4-3 on Tuesday night.

d’Arnaud’s hit came against Randy Rodriguez (3-2), the Giants’ fifth pitcher, with one out and Williams at second base.

Raisel Iglesias, who had picked up the victory Monday with two scoreless innings and four strikeouts in a 1-0 win, silenced the Giants again in the rematch for his 25th save. Iglesias was helped along by an interference call on Tyler Fitzgerald on a sacrifice bunt attempt. Dylan Lee (4-2) earned the win after retiring the Giants in order in the ninth to force extra innings.

For the second night in a row, the clubs went into the ninth inning in a tie, this time at 3-3 because Atlanta’s Pierce Johnson threw a wild pitch that allowed LaMonte Wade Jr. to score from third with two outs in the eighth.

Atlanta twice built two-run leads. Ramon Laureano had a solo home run and Jorge Soler an RBI double for a 2-0 advantage in the second. After the Giants pulled within 2-1 on Patrick Bailey’s infield out in the bottom of the inning, a solo homer by d’Arnaud again padded the lead in the third.

The Giants then rallied with single runs in the third and eighth. Fitzgerald homered in the third and Wade, who had doubled, scored in the eighth on a double-play grounder.

The homers were Laureano’s fifth, d’Arnaud’s 13th and Fitzgerald’s 13th.

Neither starting pitcher got a decision.

Atlanta’s Charlie Morton left with a 3-2 lead after six innings, having allowed two runs and six hits. He walked one and struck out eight.

The Giants’ Kyle Harrison was charged with three runs on six hits in five innings. He struck out six and walked two.

d’Arnaud finished with two hits and two RBIs as the Braves moved 3 1/2 games ahead of the Giants in the National League wild-card race. Laureano and Austin Riley chipped in with two hits apiece for the visitors, who improved to 9-4 in extra innings.

Heliot Ramos had a triple and a single for the Giants, who have lost three in a row.
