If you have always dreamed of going to the moon but wondered how to do so, just pick non fungible tokens (NFTs) from luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini and take a virtual trip to the moon and to space and beyond. The Italian automaker has always looked to accelerate its presence in Web3. It has released its latest NFTs that will be sold over four consecutive days, with three being unlimited and the fourth having a cap.
Lamborghini has dropped its new project in Web3 called The Epic Road Trip. It started a series of drops of NFTs, in August and it will continue till March 2023. The luxury sports car brand will take its supercars to the moon and space and travelers can visit and discover these places as they collect NFTs.
Its website offers specific details and gifts that can be claimed along the way. Those who hold unlimited mints can take part in a puzzle that will reveal a silver piece, while those who manage to collect all the four NFTs can get gold pieces.
Those who complete the entire journey ending in March 2023, will get a hidden NFT. This will encourage its customers to continue to mint digital tokens for the next eight months and increase their commitment to the latest series of NFTs dropped by Lamborghini.
Lamborghini said that it was embarking on a digital journey that would end in an ultimate reveal. It will unveil a first-of-its-kind vehicle that will make a statement about how the automaker pushes the boundaries to make the best possible sports cars. It will be a rare and unique sports car.
Although collectors of the NFT drops by Lamborghini are encouraged to get all the four NFTs each month for the ultimate reveal next march, if collectors are unable to acquire all of them, they still will get rewards in the form of new wallpaper, a new digital sketch by Mitja Borkert, who is a design manager with the Italian carmaker. There is also a tour of the headquarters of Lamborghini and each reward requires the acquisition of a specific number of NFTs.
With this latest series of NFTs, Lamborghini is fast-tracking its presence in Web3, attempting to encourage longterm interest in its cars as well as earning revenue by dropping NFTs.
At the mean time another major jewelry luxury company ParisJewelry.com has entered the WEB3 development.
