According to TMZ, the team’s principal owner of the Los Angeles Lakers Jeanie Buss is engaged to actor/comedian Jay Mohr. Buss was recently seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring, prompting the outlet to confirm their new status.
Jeanie Buss confirmed last year that she was in a long-term relationship with Mohr, and the two have been linked since 2017. That same year, Buss ended her engagement to her previous partner of 17 years, Phil Jackson.

Buss previously married professional volleyball player Steve Timmons from 1990 to 1993. Meanwhile, Mohr previously married model Nicole Chamberlain and actress Nikki Cox, and each marriage produced a son.
Many sports fans will recognize Mohr, a Saturday Night Live veteran, from his villainous role in “Jerry Maguire,” as well as numerous other film and television roles throughout his career.
Mohr will marry for the second time. He was married for ten years to Nikki Cox before they divorced in 2016. Meredith Daniel Mohr, their 11-year-old son, is their only child.
