Ronaldo has become a shareholder of an MMA organization in Madrid, Spain. He is in partnership with Ilia Topuria, the UFC Lightweight Champion, who co-owns the MMA promotion WOW FC, which is a leading MMA organization in Spain.
Cristiano Ronaldo posted a new video on Elon Musk’s social media platform X. He added the caption, “A new era of fighting is coming” followed by an emoji.
Millions of sports fans commented on the video and posted emojis expressing their happiness on the new partnership between Cristiano Ronaldo and Ilia Topuria.
Ronaldo has said in a press release that MMA represented everything that he believed in such as “discipline, respect, resilience, and a constant pursuit of excellence.”
He praised WOW FC for “creating something powerful and unique” and said that he was “proud to join this project to help grow the sport and inspire the next generation.”

Topuria also expressed his gratitude to Ronaldo for his involvement in the sport and said that he embodied “the highest level of professionalism and global success.”
He also said that they would take “MMA to new heights and inspire people worldwide to believe that anything is possible.”
Executive chairman of WOW FC Arturo Gullen also expressed his joy that the legendary Portuguese striker was getting involved in the promotion of MMA. He said that Ronaldo’s involvement would elevate the sport to a new level.
