943 pages of documents were unsealed by the  Manhattan New York court containing the names of people associated with the convicted sex offender and criminal, New York financier Jeffrey Epstein. A federal inquiry led to his being charged with sex trafficking in 2019. Epstein’s association with influential people such as high-profile celebrities, dignitaries, and people such as former presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton contributed significantly to the huge public interest in him following that accusation.

Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein accuser, finally reveals names in her 2015 complaint. Several women, including her, filed lawsuits against Epstein, claiming that he had mistreated them at his residences in Florida, New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and New Mexico. This specific lawsuit was filed against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s ex-girlfriend, who was found guilty in 2021 of aiding in the recruitment of Epstein’s victims and is currently serving a 20-year jail sentence.

The court documents in the civil action were released by Judge Loretta Preska of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York last month.

The FBI investigation got derailed as money and power intervened taking it to the state level and away from the federal level.

Many people have been harmed in a defamatory way by the names associated with the Epstein saga.

The records predate a lawsuit in which Giuffre claimed she was trafficked to Alan Dershowitz, the financier who helped disgraced Epstein get a preferential plea deal. Removing it in 2022, she said that she “may have made a mistake in identifying him.” Dershowitz praised the documents’ Wednesday release.

There were references to Prince Andrew of Britain, who settled a lawsuit alleging he had sex with a seventeen-year-old girl who traveled with Epstein, and to Epstein’s earlier acquaintance with Bill Clinton, who is not charged with any crime.

Epstein’s accuser at a recently made public deposition, Johanna Sjoberg stated that she had met Michael Jackson at Epstein’s Palm Beach, Florida, residence, but that they had no unpleasant interactions.

The names on the list include former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, actor Kevin Spacy, attorney Alan Dershowitz, the late New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, and former Vice President Al Gore, magician David Copperfield, to name a few.
