Her choice of nominee was expected, as she is known to be a feminist. She is currently producing two documentaries through her company. The 34-year-old is the latest celebrity to announce her endorsement of Kamala Harris as her choice of candidate. Many web fans are happy with her endorsement.
The Hunger Games alum told People Magazine, “Abortion is literally on the ballot.”
The Oscar winner added that she voted for Kamala Harris. She described her as an “amazing candidate” who would do all she could to “protect reproductive rights” and more.
The X-Men alum also said, “That’s the most important thing is not to let somebody into the White House who is going to ban abortion.”
Jennifer Lawrence is producing two documentaries on the issue of reproductive rights. The first one is called Bread and Roses. It focuses on the lives of three women who are living in Afghanistan under Taliban rule.
The second documentary that her company produced, Excellent Cadaver, is called Zurawski v Texas. It is coproduced with Hilary and Chelsea Clinton. The story is based on the case filed by Amanda Zurawski against the Lone Star State. She had an unviable fetus and was sent to the ICU as doctors refused to terminate her pregnancy.
