Celebrity Jenna Bush Hager connects easily with her web fans on the Today with Hoda & Jenna show. In a recent episode, the former first daughter shared an incident in which she lost an important item at a milestone birthday party and the consequences that followed the loss. Former President George W Bush and Laura Bush’s daughter amused her web fans as she narrated that incident, though her husband was a bit grumpy at the time.

Jenna Bush Hager recalled the time she attended Savannah Guthrie’s birthday a few years ago. The Bush family scion said she “woke up the next morning and one of the stones out of my engagement ring had fallen out, and I’m not exactly sure where it went…”

She also explained to cohost Hoda that she had been panicking about whether to tell her husband Henry about the loss after she woke up or maybe after he had some food.

She said she had to “tell him right away, and he was…” Hoda interjected and questioned, “Not happy?” Jenna said that Henry was “a bit grumpy.”

Jenna Bush Hager laughed and said that the stone was never found. She said that if somebody had told her that “the 50th birthday parties are going to be so fun,” she might not have believed them when she was in her twenties.

Hoda, who celebrated her 60th birthday in August, said, “You know what, I’m telling you, everything just gets greater, better.”

Hoda also shared how Savannah Guthrie visited her with her husband, Michael Feldman, and their children, Vale and Charley. She said that she and her daughters cleaned the house and got ready to entertain them. She mused about the difference between their earlier life in the city and their new one in a town.
