Based on Carl Hiaasen’s New York Times bestselling novel, “Bad Monkey” brings to life the quirky and chaotic world of Andrew Yancy, played by Vaughn. Once a cop with the Miami Police Department, Yancy was demoted to be a health inspector in the Florida Keys. However, his mundane job takes a thrilling turn when tourists fish up a human arm. Yancy sees this as his ticket back into the force. Still, he has to navigate through a slew of eccentric Floridian characters and one particularly troublesome monkey to solve the mystery.

With its unique blend of dark humor, mystery, and offbeat characters, “Bad Monkey” is an engaging and entertaining ride. Vaughn’s portrayal of the disgraced cop-turned-health inspector adds depth and charm to the story, while the stellar ensemble cast brings Hiaasen’s vibrant and peculiar characters to life. Fans of the novel and newcomers alike will be drawn into this wild and unpredictable Floridian adventure.

The ensemble cast includes L. Scott Caldwell (“The Fugitive”), Rob Delaney (“Catastrophe”), Meredith Hagner (“Search Party”), Natalie Martinez (“La Promesa del Retorno”), Alex Moffat (“Saturday Night Live,” “Holidate”), Michelle Monaghan (“Gone Baby Gone”), Ronald Peet (“First Reformed”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen & Slim”), with special guest star John Ortiz (“American Fiction”) and guest stars Zach Braff (“Scrubs”), Ashley Nicole Black (“Ted Lasso”), Scott Glenn (“The Leftovers”), and Charlotte Lawrence in her television debut.

Developed by Warner Bros. Television, “Bad Monkey” is helmed by executive producer and showrunner Bill Lawrence through his Doozer Productions. The executive team also includes Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses (“Scrubs”), Marcos Siega, Vaughn, and Liza Katzer.
