Aliyah Boston had 34 points with 12 rebounds while Caitlin Clark scored 32 and added 10 assists, as the host Indiana Fever outlasted the pesky Chicago Sky to win 114-106 in overtime on Thursday night in a Commissioner’s Cup contest at Indianapolis.

The Fever (7-5, 3-1 in Commissioner’s Cup) won their fifth straight home game despite blowing a 19-point first-half lead.

Chicago’s Skylar Diggins hit a deep 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds left in regulation to tie it at 98-98 and force overtime. However, Boston and Clark combined to score eight of the first 11 points in overtime, as the Fever never trailed in the extra session to win their seventh straight over Chicago (4-9, 1-4).

Boston and Clark are the first teammates in WNBA history to both amass 30-point double-doubles in the same game. Clark went 15-of-15 from the free-throw line.

Rookie Sydney Taylor had a career-high 30 points off the bench and Diggins finished with 21 for the Sky.

Indiana dominated the early but allowed Chicago to come back and eventually lead by six points after three quarters. However, the Fever scored 10 of the first 12 points in the fourth to reclaim the advantage.

A Boston three-point play put Indiana up by three with 5:47 left in regulation. The Fever led 96-91 with just under a minute to play. But Chicago fought back, scoring five points in the final 7.2 seconds as a Kelsey Mitchell turnover opened the door for Diggins’ tying basket.

Chicago outscored Indiana 26-19 in the second quarter to trail by six at halftime. The Sky were down 53-48 in the third when they used an 8-0 surge to go ahead.

However, the Fever fought back, later using a 6-0 spurt to lead 66-59. Chicago scored 20 of the period’s final 27 points, with Taylor posting 16 over a span of 3:02 to give the visitors a 79-73 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Indiana led by 13 after one quarter, with Clark either scoring or assisting on 21 of its 27 points.

Indiana led 44-26 with 3:46 remaining in the second when Chicago got hot. Taylor scored seven points while the Sky closed the opening half on a 14-2 run to trail 46-40 at the break.

Indiana’s Sophie Cunningham sat with a right elbow injury.
