
Apple Inc. (AAPL) introduced its newest model of flagship iPhone 17, a new thinner phone called iPhone Air, AirPods Pro 3 and Apple Watch at its Tuesday hardware event. The devices will be available in stores on September 19, and shipment will also begin. Apple shares fell by 1.5 percent after the event, and it appeared as if investors were not impressed by the latest products but actual sales over time will determine the popularity of the new devices.
The Cupertino, California giant described the iPhone 17 Pro as its most powerful one and said that it had breakthrough battery life. The front of the phone has Ceramic Shield 2. Powered by A19 Pro chip, all the rear cameras are 48MP. There is also a Center Stage front camera.

Although the iPhone Air has been described as the thinnest phone from the smartphone family, the company says it is packed with pro power, durability, Ceramic Shield 2, A19 Pro chip, 48MP Fusion camera system and Center Stage front camera. CWEB analysts say the dimensions and camera are the main variants when compared with the latest pro device.
The iPhone 17 also has the new Ceramic Shield 2 on the front. The display has ProMotion up to 120 Hz and 48MP Dual fusion camera as well as the new Center Stage front camera.
New phone cases called Tech Woven are offered as a bonus at Apple’s 2025 hardware event.
Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 have been launched. The upgrades include a larger display and faster charging speeds. The watches also connect to 5G and satellite networks and feature health apps one of which is advanced blood pressure monitoring.
AirPods Pro 3 sees some much-needed upgrades as Pro 2 was released in 2022. The new version has better audio, and smaller earbuds. There is a new heart rate sensing feature and live translation feature using Apple Intelligence.
