Campeones La Liga 2019/2020 🏆 ¡HALA MADRID!

A post shared by zidane (@zidane) on

A disastrous defensive display by Real Madrid made them trail behind 3-0, at the Alfredo di Stefano stadium. Luka Modric and Vinicius Junior tried to make a comeback in the second half by scoring but the final tally was 3-2. This is Madrid’s second loss at home in a period of four days as they were beaten by La Liga minnows Cadiz with a tally of 1-0.

Zidane said, “We made a mistake with the first goal, and then we lacked confidence. It’s just as well my players reacted in the second half. It’s a bad game, a bad night. I’m the coach. I have to find the solution. I didn’t find it tonight.”

Madrid   20-21 season includes a draw and three wins before this slump. They are 3 points ahead of Barca, their rivals in the La Liga table, with an extra game. Veteran midfielder Luka Modric said, “We have to improve, that’s obvious.”
