On the heels of a successful venture last May in Lyon, France, WWE will hold its first premium live event in Paris on Aug. 31.
“Clash in Paris” will take place at Paris La Defense Arena, Europe’s largest indoor venue with a capacity of up to 40,000. The event be followed on Sept. 1 by a global broadcast of “Monday Night Raw” from the arena.
“Backlash France in Lyon last year broke arena records and decibel levels, demonstrating just how loud and passionate our WWE fans in France can be,” WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said. “We believe Clash in Paris and Raw will attract people from around the world to Paris and once again create a true spectacle.”
WWE held several events in 2024 outside the United States, making two stops in both Canada and Saudi Arabia along with visits to Scotland, Australia and Germany.
