Top-seeded Iga Swiatek increased her winning streak to 21 consecutive matches by dispatching eighth-seeded Brit Emma Raducanu on Friday to reach the semifinals of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix at Stuttgart, Germany.

The 20-year-old Polish star saved four of five break points while winning her first career match against the 19-year-old Raducanu. It also marks the 13th consecutive match that Swiatek won in straight sets.

World No. 1 Swiatek will next face Russian Liudmila Samsonova, who knocked off Germany’s Laura Siegemund 7-5, 6-3 in her quarterfinal match. Samsonova will be looking for her second Top 10 victory of the week after upsetting World No. 7 Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic on Thursday.

Second-seeded Paula Badosa of Spain advanced to the semis with a 7-6 (9), 1-6, 6-3 victory over seventh-seeded Ons Jabeur of Tunisia. Badosa will face third-seeded Aryna Sabalenka after the Belarusian posted a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 win over fifth-seeded Anett Kontaveit of Estonia.
