West Virginia (23-6, 12-6) built a 37-17 halftime lead. But when TCU posted the first eight points of the fourth quarter, the gap was down to 48-38. It took the Mountaineers nearly six minutes to post their first points of the fourth quarter. TCU shot 3-for-14 on 3-pointers.

The Buffaloes (21-8, 11-7), who’ve lost five of their last six games, were undone by shooting 36.2 percent from the field and committing 11 turnovers.

Jaylyn Sherrod’s 18 points led Colorado, but she shot 3-for-16 from the field to go with 11-for-12 on free throws. Aaronette Vonleh’s 15 points and Frida Formann’s 10 points kept the Buffaloes within range.
