Shayeann Day-Wilson, Jasmyne Roberts and Lashae Dwyer scored 18 points apiece as Miami stunned No. 4 North Carolina State with a thorough 73-59 upset victory on Thursday in Coral Gables, Fla.

The Hurricanes (12-5, 2-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) shot 53.6 percent from the floor while holding NC State to 28.1 percent, by far a season low.

Dwyer had six rebounds, Day-Wilson added three assists and three steals and Lazaria Spearman contributed 10 points and eight rebounds for Miami.

Mimi Collins led NC State (15-2, 3-2) with 18 points and grabbed six rebounds. Saniya Rivers had 17 points and six rebounds, and Zoe Brooks scored 14 points. The Wolfpack, who went 17-for-19 at the foul line, were outscored by 11 points in the first quarter and never recovered.

No. 10 LSU 78, Alabama 58

Angel Reese and Aneesah Morrow each scored 20 points and pulled down double-digit rebounds as the Tigers routed the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

LSU (17-2, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) outscored Alabama 26-10 in the third quarter, with Reese and Morrow each registering eight points. Reese finished with a game-high 17 rebounds and Morrow chipped in with 11. The win comes on the heels of the Tigers’ 67-62 loss to Auburn, LSU’s first defeat since its opener.

Aaliyah Nye led the Crimson Tide (15-5, 2-3) with 18 points, all in the first half, on 6-of-14 shooting, including 4 of 8 from long distance. Loyal McQueen added 15 points thanks to hitting 8 of 9 free throws, and Essence Cody topped the team with eight rebounds.

No. 13 Louisville 81, Clemson 64

Jayda Curry poured in 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting off the bench for the visiting Cardinals, who led by 25 after three quarters in a beatdown of the Tigers.

Kiki Jefferson tallied 17 points and eight assists, Olivia Cochran had 12 points and six rebounds and Sydney Taylor had 11 points and eight boards for Louisville (16-2, 5-0 ACC), which has won six games in a row and 12 of its last 13.

Dayshanette Harris carried Clemson (8-10, 1-5) with 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting and seven assists. Amari Robinson and Ruby Whitehorn each scored 10.

Duke 63, No. 14 Virginia Tech 46

Reigan Richardson rang up 22 points and Kennedy Brown grabbed 10 rebounds to carry the Blue Devils to an upset victory over the Hokies in Durham, N.C.

A 27-point third quarter blew open the game for Duke (12-5, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), with Ashlon Jackson leading the way with eight of her 13 points coming in the period. The Blue Devils hit 62.5 of their shots from the floor in the third and 42.4 percent for the game.

Elizabeth Kitley was the only Hokie in double figures as she hit 9 of 18 shots for 18 points. She also topped Virginia Tech (13-4, 4-2) with 10 boards. The Hokies turned the ball over 20 times as they failed to score 50 points for the first time since a 51-45 loss to North Carolina State on Jan. 23, 2022.

Syracuse 79, No. 15 Florida State 73

Dyaisha Fair racked up a season-high 31 points thanks to 9-of-14 3-point shooting to lead the host Orange to a comeback win over the Seminoles.

Fair made the go-ahead 3-pointer with 3:35 left in the game after Syracuse (15-2, 5-1 ACC) had fallen behind 54-36 in the third quarter. Fair made another triple for a four-point advantage almost a minute later before she and Sophie Burrows iced the game at the foul line.

Ta’Niya Latson paced Florida State (14-5, 5-2) with 22 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Makayla Timpson had 16 points and 12 rebounds, O’Mariah Gordon added 16 points and Sara Bejedi scored 11.

No. 17 Gonzaga 72, Loyola Marymount 48

Yvonne Ejim produced 24 points and 12 rebounds as the Bulldogs thrashed the Lions in Los Angeles for the 11th consecutive win.

Ejim hit 11 of 15 shots from the floor and added three blocks. Kaylynne Truong had 10 points and 10 assists for Gonzaga (17-2, 4-0 West Coast Conference), and Bryanna Maxwell scored 11 points.

Maya Hernandez put up 12 points as Loyola Marymount (7-10, 2-3) lost for the fourth time in six games. Ejim scored 10 points in the first quarter as the Bulldogs built an 18-6 lead. The Lions never got closer than eight points the rest of the way.

No. 19 Notre Dame 86, Virginia 76

Sonia Citron tallied 28 points, Hannah Hidalgo had 23 and the visiting Fighting Irish defeated the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va.

Hidalgo stuffed the stat sheet with nine assists, six steals and five rebounds. Citron went 12-for-12 at the foul line and Hidalgo went 11-for-14 for Notre Dame (13-3, 4-2 ACC). Maddy Westbeld added 14 points and nine boards.

Kymora Johnson and Paris Clark scored 16 points apiece and Olivia McGhee had 14 for Virginia (8-9, 0-6), which drew within single digits during the fourth quarter but could not complete a comeback attempt.

No. 23 North Carolina 73, Georgia Tech 68

Deja Kelly went for 27 points, five rebounds and four assists as the Tar Heels outlasted the host Yellow Jackets in Atlanta.

Alyssa Ustby had 15 points and Teonni Key added 10 on 5-of-6 shooting for North Carolina (13-5, 5-1 ACC). Tonie Morgan led Georgia Tech (12-6, 3-3) with 15 points and nine assists, while Kara Dunn scored 14 points and Rusne Augustinaite and Ariadna Termis each finished with 11.

Augustinaite and Ines Noguero knocked down 3-pointers to help Georgia Tech score eight points in the final 30 seconds, but Kelly went 6-for-6 from the foul line in that span to seal the Tar Heels’ victory.
