The Washington Wizards traded Jared Butler to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday in exchange for fellow guard Reggie Jackson and a 2026 first-round draft pick.

The Sixers also receive four future second-round selections (2027, 2028 and two in 2030) in the deal announced ahead of the trade deadline.

Butler, 24, is averaging 6.9 points and 2.6 assists in 32 games off the Washington bench this season. The fourth-year player has career averages of 5.6 points and 2.3 assists in 120 games (two starts) with the Utah Jazz (2021-22), Oklahoma City Thunder (2022-23) and Wizards.

Jackson, 34, is averaging 4.4 points through 31 games (one start) in his 14th NBA season. He holds career averages of 12.3 points, 4.1 assists and 2.8 boards in 884 games (530 starts) with five teams. He won an NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets in 2022-23.

The 76ers also dealt forward KJ Martin and two second-round picks (2027 and 2031) to the Detroit Pistons for cash considerations.

Martin, 24, averaged 6.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 24 games (seven starts) this season for Philadelphia. He owns career averages of 8.7 points and 4.1 boards in 290 games (68 starts) with the Houston Rockets (2020-23), Los Angeles Clippers (2023) and Sixers.
